Thomas, Mary Loueda Horst, 62 died October 30, 1997 at the Mennonite Fellowship Home , Hagerstown, Maryland, she was formerly of Chambersburg, PA. Born July 6, 1935 in Southhampton Township, PA, to Peter and Elizabeth Byers Horst.
In her early years she worked at the H.J. Heinz Co in Chambersburg. She also worked at OSI, Chambersburg, PA. She was a member of Emanuel Fellowship Church Edenville, PA.
Survived by her husband Leroy Thomas of Shippensburg, PA; three sisters, Thelma Horst Baer of Dunster, British Columbia, Canada; Elsie Mae Myers and Marian Heckman both of Mercersburg, PA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Aden Horst.
Services will be Monday November 3, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rowe Mennonite Church Pinola RD., Shippensburg, PA, officated by Bishop Thomas Rock, Minister Seth Miller and Minister Keith Sensenig. Burial will be in the Old Rowe Mennonite Cemetery, Pinola, PA.
The family will receive friends at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home Greencastle, PA., Sunday November 2, 1997 from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Monday one hour prior to the service.
